Elon Musk has become a subject of debate with the video he shared on X. Musk, who shared a video allegedly belonging to presidential candidate Kamala Harris as the US elections approach, is accused of spreading false news. Because the voice in the video does not belong to Harris as Musk claims.
Is Elon Musk manipulating before the election?
As you know, the world’s agenda has been the US local elections for months. While all candidates are working on their election campaigns before the elections to be held on November 5, Musk’s post today caused a stir. It seems that Musk will get into trouble for posting the video allegedly belonging to US Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris on the platform he owns, X.
The video in Elon Musk’s post is actually a video Kamala Harris edited for her election campaign. Harris’ voice is also in the background in the original video. However, the voice in the background of the video Elon Musk shared on X with the title “This is amazing” does not belong to Kamala Harris.
Musk must have liked the fact that the video, which Harris allegedly voiced, included phrases such as “Everyone is both sexist and racist” and “I don’t know the first thing about running a country”, and shared the video on X with a comment like “Awesome”.
Musk, who has apparently been instrumental in certain manipulation efforts on the election side, has made his side clear before the US elections. Presidential Candidate Harris, who was accused of the fake video, made the following statements on the subject:
“The American people want the real freedom, opportunity and security that Vice President Harris offers, not the fake, manipulated lies of Elon Musk and Donald Trump.”
This post is against X’s broadcasting rules. However, it is not known whether X’s broadcasting rules apply to the owner of X. Let’s see how Musk will get out of this situation.
